I am a strong believer in that taking a shower makes everything better.
Because it does.
For me, at least.

I don't know what it is....but no matter how bad I'm feeling, mentally or physically, taking a shower, washing my hair, and getting myself dressed up in comfy pajamas, it just really makes a difference to how I feel.

Random bit of insight into my life....

I've had a stressful day, but tomorrow is my day off so I can have a sleep-in because Willow plans on keeping me up all night.
She's a lovely hamster, but she eats so loudly. And then she chews on the cage bars :/
It's not easy to sleep right now, but it'll be okay once I get used to her weird noises (:

Tomorrow I'm heading out to Pets at Home so I can get her some teething wood and a ball.
The idiot woman at the shop told my mother she didn't need a ball and now I am determined to hunt this idiot down and slap her. What kind of hamster doesn't need a ball?!?! I assure you I can't clean the cage while holding her. -.-

If the teething wood doesn't work, I'm going to have to get her a plastic cage. I wanted a plastic cage to start with because barred cages scare me, but I was in work at the time so I had to send mam out to buy everything for me aaaaand this is the result.

I could seriously just sit here and talk about Willow for hours.
I love her so much
She bit me today -.-
I was stressed out because the lid of her cage wasn't on and I needed to put her back in the cage but I couldn't put her down so basically I had to try and put the cage back together while holding the hamster and she isn't the kind of hamster to sit still....
I think she picked up on my stress which stressed her out and she bit me and it fucking hurt.

But she's a sweetheart, really. I love her.

:peace: & :pills:

Hamsters are adorable and great pets! But I would caution you against getting her a plastic cage because she might use it for teething and swallow the bits of plastic. Of course she needs a ball, that's a given! Not just for the times when you clean her cage, but for running around for fun!
